Arriving for Your Appointment

We recommend arriving with a reasonably full bladder where possible, as this can help improve the quality of your scan and encourage your little one to move into a better position.

Please aim to arrive around 10 minutes before your appointment. This gives us plenty of time to welcome you, get you checked in and complete your consent form before your scan begins.

​

One of our friendly team will greet you, explain everything you need to know and make sure you're feeling comfortable before it's time to meet your little one.

 

Bring Your Favourite People

These are moments worth sharing, so we'd love for your family and friends to be there with you.

You're welcome to bring guests along to your appointment to enjoy the experience together. We have seating for up to three guests, so if you're bringing a larger group, please be aware that some guests may need to stand during the scan.

 

If Baby Isn't Playing Ball

Babies don't always perform on cue—and that's completely normal!

​

We'll always do everything we can to encourage your little one into a better position during your appointment. Sometimes a little walk, a drink or a change of position is all that's needed.

​

If we're still unable to capture the images included in your package, we'll happily invite you back for a free rescan so you don't miss out on those special moments.

 

If We Notice Anything Unexpected

Ooh Baby Baby is a non-diagnostic pregnancy scan clinic, and our scans are designed to complement—not replace—your NHS maternity care.

​

Our appointments focus on giving you the opportunity to enjoy seeing your baby in a relaxed and memorable environment. However, if we notice anything during your scan that we feel should be reviewed further, we'll explain this to you clearly and advise you on the appropriate next steps.

​

Your wellbeing and your baby's wellbeing will always be our priority.

 

Parking

We've chosen our location to make visiting us as easy as possible, with several convenient parking options just a short walk from the clinic.

You can park:

​

• On the road directly opposite the clinic

• In the gym car park behind us (please remember to enter your vehicle registration into our ANPR tablet when you arrive)

• In the additional parking area opposite Discount Furniture Store, just around the corner

All parking is only one or two minutes from our front door, making your visit as stress-free as possible.
